Kids Times

As an online forum for discussion, Kid’s Times hopes that young people will submit their work and respond to others’ work in an open and free manner. To that end, kidstimes.org has established the following guidelines to ensure the safety, wellbeing and privacy of our youth journalists:

1. We will not collect personally identifiable information from youth journalists

2. When youth journalists submit stories, photographs, videos or provides feedback to any of the aforementioned mediums, they will be given credit solely on the basis of first name, age and state.

3. In the case where a youth journalist submits a photograph, a video, or any other medium that contains a visual representation of the youth journalist or other youths, the editors of kidstimes.org will carefully review the release forms accompanying the submission to ensure that the parents/legal guardians of the youths depicted know about and agree to those visual representations being displayed on the kidstimes.org web site. If, for any reason, the editors of kidstimes.org cannot draw a clear connection between a youth visually represented in a submission and an accompanying release form, the parents/legal guardian of the youth journalists will be contacted for clarification.
