Every school has his own choise wether to have uniform or not. My opinion about uniform, is that i think that we should have school uniform, and the reason is that you don't have to be worried about what people think about your clothes, and where you buy them, and how you dress, and how you wear your clothes.

I would want to have uniform, but i think it's better, because for example lets say you go to school, with your school uniform like everyone else at school, your shirt tucked in, with the same skirt, shoes and sox, then nobody will come up to you and tell you look at the way you dress, you look stupid!!!" They can't tell you that. because they wear the same clothes. same style, same color, so if they are talking about you look stupis, they should look at themselves, because they look exactly the same.

Now the Question is: would you rather have uniform, or not_ i would have to say sharply YES!! because you don't have to be worried about anything, and that's exactly what i talked about!

HELLO where are your facts, you are trying to tell people that uniforms are right you have no facts since you dont have any i'll give you some #1 right now in america you are not allowed to choose what public school you go to so you cant choose to go to a school with uniforms or not. also if we had school choice no one would argue if uniforms are good or bad because we would have school choice.#2some people wear thier clothes for thier religion what would they do. since the government made a law that kids until 12th grade have to go to school, and with the government taxing them they might not be able to go to a private school, so they have no options. #3 having uniforms is unconstitutional the Ist amendment gives freedom of expression, is'nt america a free country i dont call uniforms an act of freedom.#6 people say that uniforms decrease violence, that kids kill for clothes instead ask the hard questions where does the kid get the gun, why cant he afford it himself, who taught him that violence is the way to get things done,what makes a kids life so meaningless he has to have the latest sneakers to feel a sense of self worth. #7 uniforms are a waste of taxes (which we should't have) and i would write more but my hands are getting tired from typing so much on why uniforms are bad. oh and you why do you care what other people think about you someone needs a personality

I think school uniforms are bad 'cause THINK, you'd get sick of wearing same thing OVER and OVER and OVER again. But I do like the way school uniforms look, especiqally japanese sailor type uniforms. Actually, I think school uniforms in public schools are bad because eh...uniforms are things of school pride, and most public schools are organized in districts so...eh...no individual school pride there. Uniforms should only be the property of private/catholic schools.

i think that students should wear uniforms becuase it would help save thier parents some money, it will cut down on teasing and cliques, schools will be safe from outsiders, parents will no longer have to buy designer labels, uniforms will sepersate the public schools from the catholic schoos and private schools.most people think that uniforms is a bad thing but it is not, i think that it helps they children to concentrate more on their education.

I am 14 yrs. old and I honestly believe that unis are a great idea. Plz don't start yelling at me about your rights and how they're unconstitutional. I've heard and read those arguments before and they still don't phase me. I have visited a school where they have unis and I was amazed at the difference in the students compared to my school. You can't tell what category everyone belongs in and they can't do the same to you. You have to get to know the ppl before you can judge them. It felt nice for ppl to come up and just start talking instead of just judging. Another thing I noticed was that school spirit was through the roof. The entire student body showed up at the pep rally and at games. We went on a field trip to a popular museum and my new friends pointed out all the different schools that were there. They were identifiable by their unis. Being recogonized so easily meant that they had good behavior while there and showed great respect for the other visitors. One last thing that I want to point out is that grades were usually high among the students and school crime was low. It was not a religious school that I visited. I believe that unis are good for schools and anyone that complains about constitutional rights care too musch about how they look and not enough about their school work!

I think uniform is great (NOT)it sucks no 1 likes wearing let alone like it i cant stand it i wish every1 wearing a uniform should burn it!

well... i believe that everyone has their own say about this issue.i can relate that some public schools dun haf uniforms and believe that only private schools only do wear them. however, i also think that uniforms helps to maintain discipline amongst all.but then again, i can get sick and tired of wearing the same over and over again.... so why should we_....
