I think that school uniforms are stupid because they dont do anything for us eccept keep us from growing up. They don't help the kids being made fun of because they find a way to make fun of the kid no matter what they wear.If they don't wear the name brand of shoes they get made fun of because of that so if we are going to get made fun of anyway then why should we have to wear them.

They say that they protect us from school shootings. How does it do that I mean people could keep guns in their pocket or if they are girls they could stick it in their purse so if we are still in danger of having a shooting it don't matter what we wear they cannot protect us from everything that the world throws are way so they need to stop and think that if kids are going to make fun of other kids they will find a way. If they are trying to keep us from having a shooting they should have a searcher every morning not take our pride away and keep us from having a life they need to think about that.

People that enforce these things I guess think that we don't want to have a life and that we do not need to be an individual we need to be a person without a life. we need to be able to wear not what other people want us to wear.By doing this they are hurting us more than they are helping us.this is what I think about the school uniforms.

school uniforms can be stupid, but prvent alot of things. For instance say that a boy had very nice clothes and some kids mugged him. Say if a girl started a fashion trend,and alot of girls got jealous and did something very bad to her. But they stupid side is if you wanted to show your friends a new pair of girls low rides, but you have to do it on your own time, they are stupid at times

School unifomrs are not stupid. I wear a uniform at my school. I used to go to a school where there was no uniform, and I was made fun of because my clothes weren't the most fashionable or expensive. When I switched schools, the amount of teasing I recieved was greatly decreesed, as was the amount of peer-pressure surrounding clothes. I have also noticed that my classmates behave better when they wear their uniforms than when thy don't. Our school has free dress days, and people usually are noisy and distracting on those days. Uniforms aren't necessarily uncomfortable. My uniform is very comfortable. We even are allowed to wear shorts when it's warm out. Our uniform allows us to play and run and jump and do all the things we can do when we don't wear our uniforms. Many people say that uniforms keep kids from expressing their individuality. But tell me this: is being an individual about the clothes you wear, or is it about who you are as a person_ So, uniforms are not "stupid", they are not "unfair" and they do not keep us from being individuals. If you don't want to wear your uniform, I sugest that the students of your school and the facuilty make a compromise. Have some free dress days and some days where you have to wear your uniforms.

It is our free will to wear what we want. Befor school starts teachers can not tell us what we can and can't do , so it is manly up to our parents to tell us what we can and can't wear . Besides shouldnt the kids that are atending the school be allowed to vote on if we want to wear the uniforms, I mean we are the ones who have to wear them arent we!_ The rules about not wearing spagetie straps is ok but not even getting to wear shorts or purple or even pants that just isn't right.

You are Right!! They do think that because they are going to wear uniforms that they become better persons guess not I went to school didn't wear one I am not a drugy or I don't go shooting around! They just want to let everyone know that they make the Rules!! And it's because the people Don't speak up!! They let them do these things. If it's so cool why don't they wear them maybe it will make them better teachers etc.

I think uniforms are stupid because it doesn't let us be us. It makes us look like everyone else. We're not free to be gothic or just plain jeans and a t-shirt. They don't let us be what we what to be. People say it prevents us from being shot. people get shot for making other people mad not for what there wearing.

Hiya! Yes, school uniforms might do nothing, but in comparriosion, they might do some good. Everything has a pros and cons side, so school uniforms really aren't that bad. I really do belive that school uniforms can help us, for I get teased..saying I'm fat and all. But really, on the the other hand, I wouldn't want to wear them. They wouldn't..be..like my normal clothes, who express myself. You see, I'm doing this report on school uniforms, so this article is really good.
